Family Campers & RVers was formed in 1949. We are unique in several ways, compared to other groups, because we are non-profit and, with the exception of our national office, staffed by volunteers. Our organization and activities are geared to the enjoyment of the whole family. Our goal is to provide the family with activities that will bring fun and fellowship to every member.

Our purpose is not to sell you a recreational vehicle, but to pursue activities within the Family Campers & RVers organization that include programs in conservation, wildlife, disaster awareness training, self propelled camping, legislation, travalongs, as well specific programs for youth, teens, and adults.

Our organization structure revolves around members and chapters mainly in the U.S. and Canada, but we are proud to say we have members from around the world that belong to our camping family.

I would like to urge you to take advantage of our website as it provides a wealth of information including e-mail contacts, various forms, camping information, and dates of upcoming activities throughout the organization.
