State and Provincial FCRV youth directors typically work with the people planning state, regional or provincial campouts to suggest or provide activities for these functions.
Camping Is Poster and Coloring Contest
The "Camping Is" contest gives the youth of FCRV an opportunity to express themselves through art in defining what camping means to them. The contest is divided into 6 age groups; 0-2 years, 3-4 years, 5-6 years, 7-8 years, 9-10 years, and 11-12 years. The 0-2 and 3-4 year olds will have a coloring contest with an official entry form. The other age groups will have a poster contest. The contest is conducted on both a state/provincial and a national level. Entrants compete in their state/province and the first place winner in each age group is brought to the National campvention to compete in the national contest.
Complete contest rules and the official coloring contest form may be downloaded below. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader in order to view and print these documents.
